Isabella Santos Foundation Golf Tournament Raises Close to $70,000 for Childhood Cancer

Presenting Sponsor Y-mAbs Therapeutics

Charlotte weather provided a pleasant break from the heat for Isabella Santos Foundation’s 2nd annual Golf for a Cure presented by Y-mAbs Therapeutics at Firethorne Country Club.  Golfers participated in a full day of golfing in a four-person scramble format, followed by an awards banquet. Just over $68,000 was raised to help fund building the nation’s first rare pediatric cancer center, the Isabella Santos Foundation Rare & Solid Tumor Program, at Levine Children’s.

NoDa Brewing kept our players hydrated as the official beer sponsor for the event.  Fun was had with a few tournament extras including Charity Golf Guns (yes, we shot golf balls out of a gun!), shoot with a pro, raffle, silent auction, and 50/50 drawing.

Our presenting sponsor, Y-mAbs Therapeutics, is a commercial-stage clinical biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel antibody-based cancer treatments.  Their mission is to become the world leader in developing antibody-based cancer products that address clear unmet needs in pediatric oncology. We were thrilled to have them back this year as the title sponsor.

We appreciate all our sponsors for their partnerships in making this event a success!   Thank you to Gilbane Building Company as our Platinum Lunch Sponsor and to Lincoln Financial Group as the official photography sponsor enabling us to capture the day, the 2022 tournament photo gallery is provided by SnapHappy Photos.  View the 2022 tournament photo gallery here
