Hi friends!
Giving Tuesday is a global movement in which people unite to support various needs in their community, and I’d like to invite you to join me in making an impact on families battling rare pediatric cancer this holiday season.
The Isabella Santos Foundation (ISF) is a Charlotte-based nonprofit whose mission is deeply important to me – one that supports families facing their worst nightmare.
Over the past 16 years, ISF has made an incredible impact in Charlotte, raising millions of dollars for rare pediatric cancer research that has reached patients from 24 different countries. ISF opened an MIBG therapy suite (one of only a handful in the entire country), a blood donation center and has contributed significantly to a state-of-the-art pediatric cancer clinic at Atrium Health’s Levine Children’s Hospital.
This impact is a testament to the power of a community coming together, and I have personally watched this organization change the trajectory of pediatric cancer. It’s truly amazing to be a part of such meaningful work.
In early 2024, ISF plans to expand its reach beyond Charlotte to unite every children’s hospital in North and South Carolina with a single mission – to make an even greater impact. This coalition will be a game-changer for families worldwide.
