5K Race: Charlotte 5K
Date: Saturday, September 29th
Every September, families come together in Charlotte, NC to raise money for pediatric cancer research and local children’s charities. What better way to help celebrate Isabella’s life than bringing the community together to raise funds and awareness to make a difference in lives affected by cancer.
Join us Saturday, September 29, 2018, for the 11th Annual Isabella Santos Foundation 5K for Kids Cancer, 10K and 1 Mile Fun Run in Charlotte, NC. Our flagship event was started in honor of one girl’s fight and we love to see how it continues to grow each year. We are the fastest growing family-friendly race in Charlotte providing fun for the entire family. Not a runner? Not a problem! We have an activity for everyone with food and refreshments to help keep you energized. Race participants will receive a t-shirt, official racing bib with microchip timing system, and our fun run participants will receive a kids ISF cinch bag. Prizes will be given to the winners for specific age categories. Don’t forget about the Kids Zone for the little ones which includes games, face painting, slides, jump house, photo booth and more. Register today!
NOT ABLE TO JOIN THE RACE?
You can register as a Phantom Runner and will receive a t-shirt through the mail. Phantom runners can also still start a fundraising page through FirstGiving and raise donations in order to be eligible for fundraising prizes. It will be like you are there! Sign up as a Phantom Runner through the regular registration process.
Help us share the race! Encourage your friends, family and co-workers to register for the race and get involved with helping us make this the best year yet. Share the race on social media and the reason you decided to get involved.

Everyone is going to have a good time! With crafts & more, your little one will stay busy.
Family Friendly Event!
Bring the entire family out! Did we mention the kids zone?
Every year we encourage our race participants to get crazy in purple. We want to see your craziest, zaniest, most purpilicious gear on race day. Wear everything purple. Purple knee high socks, purple tutus, purple wigs, purple painted faces. If you can dream it up, we want to see it. We want to be jogging along, look up, and see a sea of purple. Show the world that YOU support finding a cure for pediatric cancer. We can’t wait to see your cute purple selves on race day!
BECOME A SPONSOR
[Sponsorships are still available, Contact Karen Murphy] Companies like yours have made the Isabella Santos Foundation 5K/10K for Kids Cancer one of the fastest growing non-profit fundraising family events in Charlotte. In 2017 with nearly 3,000 participants, dozens of corporations and the determination of the Charlotte community, we have established this event as the best of its kind! Each year we continue to raise more money for Neuroblastoma, other Orphan cancer clinical trials, local and national organizations that support families who have children fighting cancer, as well as local children’s non-profits. Given our huge social media following (15,000+) and our attendee demographic of medium-high income families, sponsoring an ISF event is an incredible advertising and brand growth opportunity! Race support comes in all shapes and sizes to work with your sponsorship goals and budget. We encourage you to join us, other national/local corporations, and family businesses at our 2018 event. Help us continue the fight to end Neuroblastoma and other rare pediatric cancer while having fun doing it! Contact Karen Murphy (firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss how your business can get involved.
