It’s officially the season of giving – a time when we all consider how to make a difference in the world. As you think about year-end contributions, I urge you to please consider becoming an advocate for families facing a battle with rare pediatric cancer.
To join the Isabella Santos Foundation (ISF) in its effort to bring a little spark of joy to families working to overcome challenges some of us can’t even imagine when they should be home celebrating with their loved ones.
This impact is a testament to the power of a community coming together, and I have personally watched this organization change the trajectory of pediatric cancer. It’s truly amazing to be a part of such meaningful work.
In early 2024, ISF plans to expand its reach beyond Charlotte to unite every children’s hospital in North and South Carolina with a single mission – and make an even greater impact. This coalition will be a game-changer for families worldwide.

The Isabella Santos Foundation (ISF) is a Charlotte-based nonprofit whose mission is deeply important to me – one that supports families facing challenges most of us can’t even imagine at a time when they should be home celebrating with their loved ones.
Over the past 16 years, ISF has made an incredible impact in Charlotte, raising millions of dollars for rare pediatric cancer research that has reached patients from 24 different countries, opening an MIBG therapy suite (one of only a handful in the entire country) and blood donation center, and contributing to a state-of-the-art pediatric cancer clinic at Levine Children’s Hospital.
This impact is a testament to the power of a community coming together, and I have personally watched this organization change the trajectory of pediatric cancer. It’s been truly amazing to be a part of such meaningful work and I hope you’ll join me by making an online donation of any amount.
