Running For Research Intern Team Set’s Up Fundraiser Opportunity with Poppin’ Popcorn

“My team, Running for Research, conducted a fundraiser that helped with our summer intern fundraising efforts! Poppin’ Popcorn is a family-run business that has been supporting organizations by allowing them to sell their products via brochure sales, online sales, and in-person promotions.

 I first heard about this company through clubs I am involved in at UNC Chapel Hill, and knew it would be a great way for members of my team to raise money while being able to provide donors a product in return. Poppin’ Popcorn ships fresh gourmet popcorn and other goodies anywhere throughout the United States, and better yet returns fifty percent of the proceeds to our team! 

We raised around $200 to support the Isabella Santos Foundation through this fundraiser, and at the end of the day nothing is better than eating yummy popcorn and helping create a world free of pediatric cancer!” –Sarah Burton, Lead Intern
