Our Lead Interns had a strong first week with their Intern Teams… they are off to an impressive start!  It’s been a busy week, to say the least since 100+ interns joined the Summer Intern Program powered by OrthoCarolina last Tuesday.  Our teams have been getting creative with group challenges and working hard to get their fundraising concepts off the ground.  We love the ideas and fresh perspectives they have been bringing to us to help make a difference for kids with cancer!

2 teams were neck and neck in their fundraising efforts during Week #1.  Congrats to Gold Ribbon Gladiators lead by Ryan Brouse (Auburn) for coming out on top by raising $3,509.  On their heels is First in Fight lead by Tenley Nystrom (UNC) and raised $3,015.  We are so impressed with all the Team’s collective efforts leading to $15,909!

Special thank you to all our Leads who worked the 1st Annual Golf for a Cure at Firethorne Country Club on Monday, June 21st.  Because of them, our event was seamless! We loved having them out there with us and received so many compliments from our tournament players.

Every week our Lead Interns will pick a team MVP for those who stand out.  Congrats to Week #1’s team members who all displayed that something extraordinary during the first week.  Our ISF Summer Intern Program powered by OrthoCarolina.  Stay tuned for self-care tips from OrthoCarolina coming each week
