ISF 5K Run & Brunch, The Virtual Edition
Can’t Stop. Won’t Stop.
Our #1 goal is to help kids fighting, beat cancer, grow hair and live theirISF dreams. We can’t help achieve that if we aren’t doing our part in helping protect cancer families who are immunocompromised during this time. It wasn’t easy, but we have made the decision to move to a virtual race for our 13th annual event. We love this event and know that many of you do too, but we must make our events safe for our families to attend. If our little cancer buddies can’t be at the race – we have to make some changes. We can’t stop. We won’t stop.
We need your help in making this the biggest race we have ever had. Even though we can’t be together, we know we can still be just as loud for pediatric cancer. Isabella taught us that regardless of the situation, We Can’t Stop. So guess what? We Won’t Stop. We won’t stop for her and we won’t stop for the many kids still fighting today. This year more than ever, we hope you will join us and do the same. And guess what… you don’t have to be in Charlotte to participate and help us make this huge!
It’s super simple. We have 3 ways you can participate:

- Register you & your family
- Choose your shirt(s)
- Race package will arrive via mail week before race
- On Saturday Sept 26th, put on your shirt and go! Walk. Jog. Bike. Hike. Just be active!

BUILD A TEAM
- Create a fun team name & recruit friends & family to sign up.
- Since we are going virtual, let’s think big. Reach out to friends and families across the country! How many states can you get?

JOIN THE BRUNCH CLUB & FUNDRAISE
- When you register, start a fundraising page
- Start a fundraising page & personalize it with stories, photos.
- Share your page via email, social to friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, EVERYONE.
- Remember to follow up several times with your network
- Earn great brunch item incentives to help implement your own brunch event on September 26
What’s “The Brunch Club”?
Even though we are unable to have our Run and Brunch together this year- that won’t take the fun out of brunch! We still have something to celebrate as we help children fighting cancer. After you complete your own Walk/Run 5k, we want to encourage you to support a local restaurant for your favorite take out meal or host brunch yourself! This year more than ever, we need to come together as a community and support one another.
To sweeten the deal, we have also added a fundraising incentive program called “THE BRUNCH CLUB”. Whether you raise $250 or $2500, we have something special for you to help step up your brunch game. Mimosas, cooking tools and apron, gift cards for your brunch and everything you need to make the perfect Bloody Mary, we got you covered.
So bottom line…. We need your help. And we need it now more than ever! We can’t wait to get back on our course in 2021 with the same familiar energy that this event always brings on a cool, crisp September morning. But until then, please help us make this a success. Our families need the support. Our mission needs to continue. We are truly getting a glimpse into the life of a cancer patient family in a way we never thought we would have to and understand just how important this is.
Run with us from a distance, Brunch with us from afar…but let us Come Together now to make an impact like never before. In the big picture, this is just a bump in the road and we will overcome it stronger than ever.
