Asian American Hotel Owners Association Holds 2020 Charlotte Charity Golf Tournament

At the beginning of August, AAHOA (Asian American Hotel Owners Association)  held their 2020 Charlotte Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting many non profits at the {Golf Club at Ballantyne}, including the Isabella Santos Foundation.  The event raised $67,000 to benefit 11 local and national charities and took place with appropriate social distancing measures, masks and health and safety protocols in place. This is the fourth year ISF has been fortunate to be one of the benefiting charities and we are so appreciative of this group of generous hotel owners and Charlotte community business leaders. In addition we were humbled to share the proceeds  with so many other great and deserving area nonprofits.

We want to extend a special thank you to Jay Patel, owner of UPS STORE 6144 for his philanthropic heart and genuine interest in ISF and our mission over the years. He connected us to this amazing group and we are so grateful for his involvement in this organization and helping to host this wonderful event.  ISF received a $2,023.77 donation from this event.

In a year like this, we rely on local businesses and our community more than ever and appreciate even more the hardship that the hospitality industry has also faced during this global pandemic. To have them still give back to their communities, says  so much about who they are and what they stand for.  We are very thankful for AAHOA and for their leadership.
