Local Businesses Raise Over $460,000 for Pediatric Cancer in 2021

Grateful – “meaning to feel or show an appreciation of kindness.” This is what we at the Isabella Santos Foundation feel when looking back at all that was achieved in 2021. This past year amazed us, especially when it comes to the outpouring of love and support we received from local Charlotte businesses. Last year more than any year before businesses stepped up to help the community and cancer families in need… and during a pandemic! It was amazing to watch how passionate each person involved was in making a real change in our city.

In another unusual year of uncertainty, local businesses showed us that we could achieve the unimaginable with the help of community members banding together for an important cause. With the help and support of 26 various give back and beneficiary events, local businesses were able to raise over $460,000 for pediatric cancer and our mission in 2021. This is INCREDIBLE!

Without this, we would not have been able to to give away over $1.1 million to our mission. It’s inspiring to see this number and what local businesses have done for our foundation and kids fighting cancer. We are so very grateful!
