Isabella’s legacy and ISF’s work extend beyond our home state of North Carolina, we love coming back to Ohio where Isabella’s Mom was raised and graduated college to help make a difference. In 2020, we funded a pediatric cancer clinical trial at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. We are excited to be back in May for Golf for a Cure as proceeds will support kids fighting rare cancers at Nationwide Children’s once again. Read more about our Executive Director on Ohio.edu.

“While our focus is local, we do try to make impacts in other areas as well. Being from Ohio and having my grassroots there, giving back to where I’m from is important to me, and Nationwide Children’s Hospital is an amazing children’s hospital. The $250,000 that we gave to Nationwide is the first time that we’ve made such a large impact in another state.” -Erin Santos, Isabella’s Mom & ISF Executive Director
We have several ways to participate and help us raise funds for pediatric cancer research: Business sponsorships, hole sponsors, flag sponsors, and limited foursomes are available. The day includes golf, lunch, drink tickets, contests, raffle & auction, and an awards reception… and of course knowing you are making a difference in your Ohio community. Join us and make a difference while networking in your community. Sign up for a corporate sponsorship or purchase a foursome before they are sold out.
ARE YOU A COLUMBUS OHIO BUSINESS AND WANT TO GET INVOLVED? We are looking for Businesses in the Columbus area who have an interest in sponsoring and making an impact for kids in their local community. We have several sponsorships available, please Contact Karen if interested in learning more.
Proceeds from the Golf for a Cure at Jefferson Country Club Course on May 2nd will benefit a Ewing Sarcoma Study at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, led by Dr. Stephen Lessnick. The goal of this trial is to identify new therapeutic opportunities for patients to open up an entirely new realm of therapies for Ewing sarcoma patients.
Dr. Lessnick’s lab at Nationwide Children’s is fully devoted to studying Ewing sarcoma and the energetic mechanisms that drive Ewing sarcoma development and progression. ISF is thrilled to support his pediatric cancer research.
ISF is dedicated to improving rare pediatric cancer treatment options in an effort to increase survival rates of kids with cancer. Over the course of fourteen years, ISF has funded nearly $6 million toward expanding the scope of research and treatment and supporting families dealing with cancer in a variety of ways. In 2021, ISF donated a record $1.1 Million to support our mission for rare pediatric cancers. For the second year in a row, ISF gave over $1 Million.
