Isabella Santos Foundation Kicks off “Month of Giving” with partner Jersey Mike’s in March

CHARLOTTE, NC March 1, 2021 – Isabella Santos Foundation (ISF) is joining forces with 43 Jersey Mike’s Subs in the Greater Charlotte area for the 11th Annual March “Month of Giving” campaign to fund local charities. During the month of March,  customers can make a donation to ISF at participating Jersey Mike’s restaurants.  The campaign will culminate with Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on Wednesday, March 31, when local Jersey Mike’s restaurants will give 100 percent of the day’s sales – not just profit – to Isabella Santos Foundation.

On Day of Giving, nationwide, local Jersey Mike’s owners and operators will donate their resources and every single dollar that comes in towards more than 200 different charities including hospitals, youth organizations, food banks, and more.

In 2020, even though Jersey’s Mike’s Day of Giving was canceled due to the beginning of the pandemic, just over $20,000 was raised for ISF during March. Since 2018 more than $320,000 has been raised for ISF which has helped impact a global pediatric cancer program at Levine Children’s.

“I am so proud to be part of a brand that has given back since the early days, Jersey Mike’s is very passionate about supporting their local communities,” says Jersey Mike’s Charlotte Franchise Owner, Nick Smith. He continues, “With that being part of our culture and being a dad myself, it was a natural fit for the greater Charlotte franchisees to partner with the Isabella Santos Foundation.  Erin Santos and her team’s commitment to finding a cure for pediatric cancer is contagious. We are honored to be part of the Isabella Santos Foundation family to help impact research and treatment for kids fighting cancer not only here in the Charlotte area, but everywhere.

For a list of the 43 participating restaurants in the greater Charlotte area and for more information on how you can show your support for pediatric cancer during the Month of Giving, visit the ISF website here. Due to social distancing requirements, many options for order and delivery are available so that everyone can enjoy a delicious sub safely.

This March, Jersey Mike’s hopes to raise a record-breaking $8 million for local charities striving to fulfill their missions and make a difference.  Since the Month of Giving began in 2011, Jersey Mike’s has raised more than $32 million for local charities
