On Monday, June 21st 31 foursomes with 124 players came together at Firethorne Country Club for kids fighting cancer. ISF Golf for a Cure presented by Y-mAbs Therapeutics was a first-of-its-kind event for our foundation and we are pleased to announce that we raised over $60,000 for pediatric cancer.  Proceeds of this event are helping fund the ISF Rare & Solid Tumor Program at Levine Children’s.

It was a hot and humid day and we are grateful the rain subsided from the day before, but NoDa Brewing kept our players cool as the official beer sponsor for the event.  Fun was had with a few tournament extras including Charity Golf Guns (yes, we shot golf balls out of a gun!), raffle, silent auction, and 50/50 drawing.

Our presenting sponsor, Y-mAbs Therapeutics, is a commercial-stage clinical biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of novel antibody-based cancer treatments.  Their mission is to become the world leader in developing antibody-based cancer products that address clear unmet needs in pediatric oncology.

“My goal is to have these antibodies available worldwide so that everyone has the same options my daughter and family had.” [Thomas Gad, founder of Y-mAbs & father of Daniella, a high-risk neuroblastoma survivor]  Read more about Thomas and the story behind Y-mAbs.

We appreciate all our sponsors for your partnerships in making this event a huge success!   Thank you to Lincoln Financial Group as the official photography sponsor enabling us to capture the day, the 2021 tournament photo gallery is provided by SnapHappy Photos.

Interested to learn more about ISF or ways you or your business can get involved with supporting pediatric cancer in our community, please reach out to Karen Murphy (Director of Sponsorships & Partnerships).  She is always up for a NoDa beer or cup of coffee to share what ISF is all about.
