MIBG AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
With the opening of the MIBG treatment suite at Levine Children’s Hospital in 2018, we want to ensure we help prepare patients and families who will be entering this program. The MIBG Ambassador fundraising program will specifically focus on MIBG therapy patients. In 2018, our Ambassador group raised a total of $64,000 for this purpose. You do not have to live in Charlotte to participate as this program will affect kids and families beyond our region.
MIBG Ambassadors are fundraising for…

SPECIAL NEEDS SUPPORT
Assist with rent, utilities & car payment should they experience financial hardship.
FIRST MIBG THERAPY PATIENT PAVES WAY AT LEVINE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL
Alexandra (center) is the first patient to receive MIBG treatment in the new The Isabella Santos Foundation MIBG therapy suite at Levine Children’s Hospital. She has neuroblastoma and has relapsed 10 times. Alexandra’s first treatment went well, and she thought it was “so cool” to be the first patient, making history and paving the way for others.
