Madison Fedak lost her life to osteosarcoma on December 21, 2019, at 7-years old. Among the overwhelming heartbreak and sadness, Madison’s family and friends moved into action to create the Live Like Madison Foundation. Live Like Madison is determined to continue Madison’s legacy of creating something positive for kids like Madison who are fighting childhood cancers.
As our first ISF Legacy Foundation, Live Like Madison joined ISF to co-fund a groundbreaking clinical trial out of Nationwide Children’s in Ohio. ISF and Live Like Madison collectively raised $250,000 for this trial and the collaborated gift will fuel research for relapsed sarcomas that could change the way treatment is provided to sarcoma patients.
ISF Legacy Foundations, part of the ISF Legacy Program, are regional 501c3 foundations created in honor of a child who battled cancer. Their mission is in direct line with ISF’s and desires a larger organization’s research, knowledge, and marketing to help obtain financial goals. Legacy Foundations can choose what type of project to co-fund quarterly.
