ISF Intern Class of 2020: Week 3 Update

Each week we give our Intern Teams competitions, speakers and real world tools that will help them prepare for life outside of their education. The teams are currently working on a 2-week creative challenge… to create a 45 second video commercial for pediatric cancer awareness.  Looking forward to sharing the winner of this challenge with you next week!  As they work on their weekly challenge, the teams continue to work on peer-to-peer fundraising, recruiting race sponsors and registration numbers. This 10 week program is only 3 weeks in they have raised over $30,000 so far.  Talk about leaving their mark!

Congratulations to Purple Cancer Eaters, Kicking Cancer’s Cath and Three Wish Warriors for pulling in race sponsors!  Big kudos to Happy Feet for having the most people registered on their team and way to go The Curesaders for making a huge leap in their peer-to-peer fundraising!

Special thanks to Corri Smith, owner of Black Wednesday, for popping on our Lead Intern video call this morning to talk about creativity and campaign building.  Black Wednesday is one of the most successful creative marketing & PR firms in Charlotte and we are so appreciative Corri took time out of her schedule to give a few tips to our interns for their challenges.

Missed meeting our teams, here you go:
